Senator Barbara Boxer spoke recently on the Senate floor on the devastating impact of the Republican budget on women and seniors.
The Republican budget would end Medicare as most US citizens have come to know.
A forceful advocate for children, consumers, the environment, families as well as her State of California; Barbara Boxer became a United States Senator in January 1993 after 10 years of service in the House of Representatives.
Senator Boxer received more than 6.9 million votes in 2004 when she was elected to a third term. This was highest total for any Senate candidate in American history.
